I've been building software for over 25 years, working as a senior developer, architect, and team lead across .NET, eCommerce, and content management. Along the way, I've led teams as small as five and as large as one hundred developers, designing both greenfield platforms and enterprise integrations.
Today, I focus on privacy engineering—turning complex regulatory requirements into scalable, automated systems that protect consumers and reduce risk. As a Staff Privacy Engineer & Architect at Kimberly-Clark, I architected the company’s North America DSAR automation platform from the ground up, ensuring timely compliance with CCPA while saving millions in operational costs. I’ve since helped drive OneTrust DSAR migrations, embedded privacy-by-design into 100+ global websites, and partnered with Legal and Security teams to pioneer privacy and security practices years ahead of GDPR/CCPA mandates.
If you'd like to know more about my work history, here's my Resume.
I believe the best way to stay current with technology is to use it. That’s why this site is custom-built instead of running on WordPress, Umbraco, or another CMS. I enjoy experimenting with new frameworks and architectures, and sharing what I learn along the way.
Much of my writing now focuses on hands-on privacy and security experiments—from TLS hardening and compliance automation to privacy engineering best practices. If something here helps you, it’s yours to use.
I'm also a paramotor pilot, avid mountain biker, science fiction fan, and enthusiastic cook. These interests keep me balanced and remind me that creativity fuels good problem-solving—whether in the air, on a trail, in the kitchen, or in code.
I've been fortunate to learn from many generous people throughout my career. Publishing what I discover here is my way of returning the favor. Everything you find is free to use—no attribution required (though I’ll never turn down a kind mention).
